The cartoonist Liza Donnely, an authoritative figure of The New Yorker with her five cartoons, interprets in an ironic and surreal way what appears to be a true "contrast" for the artist: the imperfect nature of people and the machine, which, unable to perceive the illogical and fallible aspects of humans, supports them through its perfect and cold rationality.
